Day Out at Marina

Had a fun evening with Jac, Ivy and Shimin at Marina today...

First stop was Pasta de Waruku for dinner... The wait was super long! But at least the food is not bad... Here is Jac and her big bowl of salad...

The rest of us had pasta (which I forgot to take photo of)... My salmon and salmon roe pasta is quite yummy too...

After dinner, we went to catch the fireworks... Super crowded and our view were partly blocked by some palm trees (again!)... Nonetheless, we still went "oooo" and "aaah" over the massive firework display, especially towards the finale...

(Sorry for the shaky bit at around 1:00... some dumb guy pushed his way pass me...)

It was dessert time after the fireworks display... We went to Marvelous Cream for icecream...

It's interesting to see how they mix the icecream and the toppings together... So fun!

And the icecream is very yummy! I am definitely going back again!

P.S.: Really hate going to the dentist! Went today for checkup and polishing (since it is covered by my company's medical insurance)... Even when I was waiting for my turn in the waiting area, the sound of the teeth scaling/ polishing equipment from the dentist's room made my hair stand! Eeeek!!
