Tribute to Hayao Miyazaki

Went with the gang to watch Hayao Miyazaki's "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" today...

Miyazaki made some of my favourite Japanese animations like "My Neighbour Totoro" and "Spirited Away"... "Ponyo" has got a fairly simple story line... It might not be as deep as some of Miyazaki's past works but I still like it nonetheless... The point Miyazaki made touches my heart - How many of us can still love with the pure love like the little boy Sosuke in the story?

I also love the little house on the cliff by the sea that Sosuke and Lisa live in...

And the theme song is still ringing in my head now! Ponyo ponyo....
