Cell Group Retreat

Just came back from my cell group retreat! Been a good one even though I missed half of it... the retreat started Friday night but since I had to OT on Friday plus there's alot of work to clear before going to Shanghai, I only went to meet them Saturday in the afternoon...

We had our retreat at YMCA Wu Kai Sha Youth Village (though most of us are not quite "youth" anymore)... the environment is pretty quiet and far off from the city... we had BBQ in the evening and it was great getting to chat with everyone while sitting all around the pit BBQ-ing...

This morning, Keet hired a bus to bring us to this place called To Fong Shan Christian Centre... it's a place perfect for retreat up in the hill... though it is a Christian centre, it's built in genuine chinese style... some say that it was formerly a temple but the owner converted to Christianity so he made the place a Christian place of worship...

The scenary is just perfect for spending some quiet time with God...

One special thing there is their labyrinth... it looks like a maze but actually there's just 1 path into the middle of the labyrinth and back... while walking at a comfortable pace in the labyrinth, you are supposed to meditate, pray and reflect, and let God speaks to you... It was really quite an experience...

Had a good time with the cell group... but super tired now... shall get some good rest before the work week starts again!
