Of Cold Wind and Hot Air Balloon
Just came back from dinner with Esmond... Great to have friends from Singapore in town!
Since we didn't go to the Peak the last time, I promised to bring him there this time round... Took the Peak Tram up to the Peak but so suay it's the Peak Tower re-opening ceremony and the place is closed for the function... so we could only look at the harbour view from near the Lion Pavilion... It was freaking cold and windy up there! But the view is pretty nice...
After that we went to 翠華 for dinner... food is yummy but I think it's not as good as the Causeway Bay branch... nonetheless, we had a good time catching up...
After that, we took Star Ferry back to Tsim Sha Tsui where his hotel is... took the ferry from the new Central Star Ferry Terminal... Although the building imitate the old terminal, it just looks weird... it was again super cold with the wind blowing right on your face on the ferry! But it's actually quite nice to take the ferry at night... :)
He said something pretty interesting about relationship... He said relationships are like hot balloon... hot air rises... but when the hot air balloon hit the ceiling, the air will cool off... so when a relationship hits its limit, it's only natural for things to cool off... So if things ever cool off between you and someone, that probably means that you have reached your "ceiling"... and things will only go downhill from there...

Well, if the hotair balloon flies out in the open, will there ever be a limit/ceiling/horizon to the sky? Fly yr hotair balloon in the open...keep the fire burning while scaling greater heights. Great opportunities abound. =)
