Playing with Clay

I had my first pottery class today at the Contemporary Clay Studio at Bali Lane! So fun!

I made 2 bowls today on the potter's wheel... First one was a big bowl made with close instruction from my teacher, so it turned out pretty okay... Second one was a smaller one which is a bit out of shape as I was practising on my own... But who cares whether it is out of shape or not... coz I MADE THEM... Hahaha...

While making the bowls, we covered basic techniques such as centering, opening and throwing...

Working on the potter's wheel is quite therapeutic and relaxing actually... Maybe coz the way the wheel turns and turns is simply hypnotizing...
