Of Household Chores and Stuff

It seems like my sunday activities have pretty much fall into a routine... Wake up late... bring my laundry to the laundry shop down the road... go for breakfast... take a bus to North Point... attend church service... have lunch with the cell group... go home... do household chores... watch tv...

Household chores include mainly sweeping and mopping the floor... but every other week I would also clean the fan and wash the toilet... like today, I did everything! But it's times like this that you are glad you have a small apartment... Less cleaning to do!

Had a revelation today while I was cleaning the fan (sometimes God speak to us at the most unexpected time and the most amusing way)... when you clean a fan, you would notice that dust and dirt accumulate on the inside of the cover and not on the outside... sometimes we are like that too... when we focus so much on getting things done, we draw so much on our own strength, and we start to have these "dirt" cumulated on the inside although we still look pretty "clean" on the outside... and we need God to come in from time to time to clean us and refresh us...

Not a huge revelation... but something we need to remind ourselves from time to time, especially when we get busy...
